What is the difference between Mission Experience and Game Bay Experience?

The Mission Experience involves a team of 4 to 6 players navigating through 5 hi-tech video game rooms in hazmat gear to disarm the World's Largest Paint and Foam Bomb (and Slime Bomb coming soon!). Each game room lasts 10 minutes, totaling a 1-hour experience with free photos and videos. The Game Bay Experience allows groups of 4 to 8 to rent a private arcade lounge with unlimited gaming for 1 hour, featuring 15+ original Beat The Bomb video games lasting 3 to 5 minutes each, offering competitive, cooperative, and pre-packaged game sets.

Is the Mission Experiences like an Escape Room?

Escape rooms are themed and very puzzle intensive. Players work separately and there is no fun penalty if you don’t escape. Beat The Bomb is different. We are a 100% real interactive social game requiring ALL players to work together to win. Go through 5 rooms and use teamwork to disarm the Paint Bomb or Foam Bomb. Fail and you GET BLASTED! Free photos and videos included. For more casual arcade-style play (with no hazmat suits of bomb-blast ending) book our Game Bays. What is the difference between Paint and Foam Mission?

In both Paint Bomb Mission and Foam Bomb Mission, teams of 4 to 6 players must advance through 5 hi-tech video game rooms to disarm a bomb. Each mission has a distinct set of 5 game rooms and a unique bomb ending, paint or foam. The Paint Bomb Mission comes with white hazmat suits, while the Foam Bomb Mission comes with black hazmat suits. To learn more about the games in each mission visit our Game Page.

How long do the experiences last?

The Game Bay, Mission, and VIP Mission take just over 60 minutes, while the Super VIP lasts just over 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you have 1-2 teams, expect to be on site for about an hour and 45 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking time—late arrivals by >5-min may result in cancellation or rescheduling.

What age is this appropriate for?

- The minimum age to participate in Beat The Bomb is 8 years old.
- All participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by an adult guardian in advance of participation. Waivers can be signed onsite or online in advance.
- Participants 8-9 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the experience (including the game itself) as one of the 6 players on the team. Participants aged 10-15 can participate without an adult in the game, but must have an adult on the premises waiting for them. Participants 16+ can participate without a guardian on-site, but a guardian/parent 18 and older must complete the waiver online or in person for them to play.
- All locations except Brooklyn, require all guests for reservations after 7:30pm must be 21+ on Fridays and Saturdays.

What sizes are the hazmat suits?

Our hazmat suit sizes range from kids' sizes all the way up to 4XL.

Can I take pictures or videos during the experience?

Capture your explosive moments like a pro! Bring your phone for unlimited photos and videos, and use our phone stands and fanny packs! If you play the Mission Experience, we'll send you free photos and videos from the Bomb Room afterwards. Tag @BeatTheBomb and use #HaveABlast on social media for a chance to win epic giveaways!

What percentage of teams actually win?

Only 10% of Paint Bomb Mission players win and only 5% of Foam Bomb Mission players win.

What do you get if win?

If you win, your team earns official Pro League status which earns you:

How large can my group be?

We accommodate groups of all sizes. For direct online bookings, groups can consist of 4 to 12 players. Each team comprises 4 to 6 players, and we can start two teams simultaneously every 15 minutes. For groups of 13 or more, our events sales team will coordinate the booking with you. Please visit your desired location's page to book directly or submit an event form.

Will my clothing get ruined playing the games?

You can get as messy as you want during our Mission Experience, thanks to our non-toxic paint and foam. Plus, we provide players with waterproof hazmat suits, booties, helmets, and face shields. While we've got you covered, please keep in mind that we're not responsible for any clothing stains, so leave your best dressed at home!

Does the bomb hurt?

Our Paint and Foam Bomb's are safe and painless. Unlike paintball guns or paintballs, our Paint Bomb doesn't use any paintball-related equipment.

Are the experiences private?

All Experiences are private regardless of reservation size.

Can you play if you don't speak English?

Certainly! Language fluency is not a requirement to enjoy our games. While our games and instructions are in English, you can still have a fantastic time playing them without being fluent in the language.

Visiting our space

Do I have to sign a waiver?

Yes. Liability Waivers are required for all participants. Waivers can be filled out in advance. Your unique waiver link will be emailed to you the day before your reservation in your pre check-in checklist or you can fill the waiver out on site!

Where is the location?

BEAT THE BOMB has several locations across the United States, including:

- Brooklyn, New York: You can find us at 255 Water Street, 11201. If you're taking the subway, we're just a 5-minute walk (3 blocks) from York Street (F train), a 9-minute walk (6 blocks) from High Street (A or C train), or a 15-minute walk (10 blocks) from Clark Street (2 or 3 train). While we don't offer free parking, there's plenty of street parking and parking garages in the area.

- Atlanta, Georgia: Our location is at 1483 Chattahoochee Avenue, 30318. We offer free parking onsite for your convenience.

- Washington, D.C.: You can find us at 2005 Hecht Ave NE, 20002. Unfortunately, we don't offer free parking at this location, but there are plenty of affordable street parking options and parking garages in the area.

- Philadelphia: Locate us at 1218 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 right in City Center. 20% off at parking garage with a coupon from BEAT THE BOMB: "Parking Corporation" located at 1201 Walnut Street.

Is there parking?

- Brooklyn, New York: While there is no free parking available, there's plenty of street parking and parking garages in the surrounding area.

- Atlanta, Georgia: We offer free parking onsite for your convenience.

- Washington, D.C.: Unfortunately, we don't offer free parking at this location, but there are plenty of affordable street parking options and parking garages in the area. If you chose to use the parking garage, we can validate your parking if you download the parking app, (https://zipby.app/), before your arrival.

Instructions:
1. Download the app and set up your profile. This must be done prior to arriving to the parking garage.
2. Open the app once you are at the parking garage gate, click the 'Find Us' button (center bottom) and select the garage 'Joyce Parking - Hecht Warehouse'. You will then be let in.
3. Once at the Beat The Bomb venue, you can validate your parking by opening the app, selecting your open parking session, selecting 'Validate', scanning the QR code (we will provide this on site for you & it's also attached to this email), and following the steps prompted on the app.

- Philadelphia: 20% off at parking garage with a coupon from BEAT THE BOMB: "Parking Corporation" located at 1201 Walnut Street.

Can I buy food and drinks?

Brooklyn location offers beer, wine and snacks.

All other BEAT THE BOMB locations offer a full service bar and food menu including hot dogs, pizzas, salads, and more. Grab a table in the Bomb Beer Garden or at the Bomb Bar and take in the action around you in the glass-walled Bomb Rooms and interactive Game Bays, while enjoying good music and good vibes.

What should I wear?

Beat The Bomb’s games involve light physical activity - so we recommend clothing and shoes you can move around in comfortably!

What should I bring?

Bring your confirmation email and photo ID, for drinks at the Bomb Bar. We have free lockers to keep your belongings while you play.

Do you have coat check?

We have free lockers to keep your belongings while you play but no coat check service.

How large can my group be for an event?

The minimum group size to host an event at Beat The Bomb is 13 people. We can accommodate groups of all sizes.

Can I host an event at Beat The Bomb?

Beat The Bomb is an awesome activity for large groups of kids! Our experiences are active, engaging, and clever. With our state-of-the-art laser maze and paint blast ending, kids are guaranteed to have a blast. We offer a dedicated event sales team as well as different birthday package offerings. How do I earn rewards in the loyalty program?

It’s as easy as playing your favorite BTB games! You’ll earn one reward the first time you play each of our epic missions—Paint, Foam, and Slime. Beat a mission for the first time, and you'll snag two more rewards (for a total of 3 rewards per mission). Plus, play a Game Bay session, and voilà, another reward is yours! That’s ten total rewards and a heck of a lot of fun.

How do I redeem my rewards?

Discounted tickets and upgrades can be used when you make your next purchase. For free items, food and beverage discounts, and cool merch, just chat with a staff member on-site, and they’ll hook you up!

What are the reward levels, and what do I get?

Can I use my rewards at any location?

Sadly, no. Rewards are linked to where you earned them, so they must be used at that same location.

When can I redeem my rewards?

Rewards can be redeemed on any future visit—just not the one you’re on right now. So, keep that reward safe and sound until your next adventure!

Can I use my discounted ticket reward(s) for my whole group?

Absolutely! Your discounted ticket rewards are a gift unto you — and your whole crew*, as long as you’re playing with them. But free items and food/drink discounts? Those are all yours, superstar - only the player that earned those rewards can claim them!

* Discount tickets rewards can be used for a maximum booking of 12 players on full priced tickets. Bookings made with these rewards must include the player that earned the reward (i.e. - it is not transferable).

I earned a free drink reward, but I’m in Atlanta. Can I use it on an alcoholic beverage?

Sorry, friend! In Atlanta, your free drink reward can’t be used for alcohol due to local regulations. But good news—it’s a $10 food and beverage credit instead! Cheers to that!

I earned a free food item, but I’m in Brooklyn. Can I still redeem it?

In Brooklyn, your free food reward transforms into a magical $10 food and beverage credit, instead of a single food item. Dig in and enjoy!

Can I use my rewards on an event?

Unfortunately, rewards or discounts can not be applied towards any event items or packages.

Can minors earn loyalty rewards?

Unfortunately, not at this time. It’s our policy to never track player profiles for minors.

I earned the same reward multiple times - or I'm missing rewards I should have earned - what’s going on?

It's possible that your profile got blasted…by messy typing. Occasionally, errors crop up with incorrectly entered names or email addresses which can confuse a few things in our system. Just reach out to info@beatthebomb.com and we'll get you all sorted.

What experiences are available?

Beat The Bomb Virtual has three 1-hour virtual team building experiences to choose from:

Game Pack A
- Game 1 of 3: Sequencer (Number Pattern Game): Players hopscotch their way around multiple screens full of numbers and must work together to arrange them unique sequences.
- Game 2 of 3: Echo Chamber (Sound Pattern Game): Inspired by the popular game Simon, players must listen to sound patterns and then replay them back to the computer as a team.
- Game 3 of 3: Cyberbot (Robot Driving Game): Like Pac-Man on Steroids! Players must work together to drive a robot car and hit targets in order.

Game Pack B
- Game 1 of 3: Hack Attack (Information Game): Developed based on the lingo used by Astronauts speaking with Mission Control, in this game players must accurately input settings into each other’s Control Panels.
- Game 2 of 3: Mad Dash (Avoidance Game): Like a virtual game of Bumper Cars, players must point-and-click their icons to targets on their screen while avoiding their colleagues.
- Game 3 of 3: Block Monster (Brick-Breaker Game): Players control a paddle and destroy levels of bricks before their time runs out in this modern multiplayer twist on the 80s classic arcade game.

Can I play with some colleagues in-office together with others working remotely from home?

Yes, you can! We can customize events for your needs and can accommodate hundreds of players across different locations. Please email online@beatthebomb.com with your request so our team can prepare accordingly.

How much does a ticket cost?

Tickets are $26.50 per person ($25.00 + booking fee). Additional players can spectate the game and participate in the Zoom call at no extra cost. Please email online@beatthebomb.com for preferred pricing for groups larger than 25.

Can you accommodate a global team?

Definitely! Email online@beatthebomb.com with the number of players and their respective locations so we can have our tech team optimize the game for those locations ahead of time.

Will everyone in the group have a chance to play with each other?

Larger groups are split into teams of 4 to 6 players and will battle it out for the best score! You will be all together prior and post game play in the Zoom Main Lobby.

What is the ticket cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy:
All sales are final. However, a team may reschedule a reservation up to 48 hours before their reservation time at no additional charge. Change requests can be sent to online@beatthebomb.com. Reservation changes requested via voicemail are only valid upon confirmation from the Beat The Bomb Team.

Late Policy:
Beat The Bomb Virtual is a 1 hour experience. Our Beat The Bomb hosts will wait up to 10 minutes following the reservation start time for your team to assemble. After 10 minutes, your game host will discuss with the players in attendance whether to begin the experience with fewer players or continue to wait, acknowledging that the gameplay may be altered in order to fall within the confines of your group's reservation slot. Availability permitting, your team may reschedule the game for a later time slot that day.

Unused Tickets:
Guests may request vouchers for any unused tickets, valid for any day of the week. Vouchers do not expire. Vouchers will not be issued for unused voucher tickets. There is no rebooking fee for voucher tickets.

How can I add players to my reservation?

Guest may add players up to one hour in advance. Please email online@beatthebomb.com. Payment will be processed prior to game start.

Are there age restrictions or requirements?

Anyone old enough to comfortably use a computer, navigate a web browser, and talk on a Zoom call can play Beat The Bomb Virtual. We recommend the game for players 9 years and older, but younger children who can operate a computer are welcome!

How long does the experience last?

The Beat The Bomb Virtual experience lasts 1 hour. If your booking needs to be shortened for scheduling purposes, let us know in advance and we’ll be happy to accommodate that!

What is included in the ticket price?

Every Beat The Bomb Virtual booking includes:
